Other Hotels
We don’t have blocks at these places but they come highly recommended and are in prime locations for fun and silly times. If you have any other hotels you’d like to recommend for the party, email us at lovesatrip2025@gmail.com and we will add it to the website!
Sonder Hotel - 1500 Canal St
Apartment style hotel rooms with a rooftop pool. Located close to the French Quarter and Treme.
Holy Angels Bywater Hotel
A former nunnery turned hotel and resideneces. Located in the Bywater neighborhood and only 0.8 miles from the wedding venue.
Hotel Peter & Paul
A former Catholic church and school turned fancy hotel. Pool might be open in time, might not. Located in the Marigny very close to all the fun.
W New Orleans - French Quarter
Nice little spot in the French Quarter with a good pool and restaurant on site. Located one block away from where the bride and groom are staying.
Unsolicited advice about Airbnbs…
We kindly request that our wedding guests consider staying in hotels or traditional bed and breakfast accommodations instead of Airbnbs. Currently, it is estimated that roughly 75% of the properties in New Orleans that are listed on Airbnb and other short-term rental sites are currently operating without a permit, which is worsening the city’s housing crisis and putting its unique culture at risk.
Plus, enforcement of Airbnb regulations will (supposedly) begin in March of 2025, which means an Airbnb you book today could be shut down by the authorities in the weeks before your arrival. We don’t want that to happen to you. If you book through hotels.com you should be safe, because those properties require a different type of license. There are some condos and whole home rentals listed there, as well.
If you reserve an Airbnb or other short-term rental option, we suggest you confirm their license number and check their address against this map of short-term rental licenses.
For those wondering which neighborhoods they should stay in, we recommend French Quarter, Treme, Bywater and Marigny.
